NEW YORK CITY (dpa-AFX) - Vodafone Group Plc (VOD.L, VOD) said on Wednesday
that it will commence a share repurchase for up to 500 million euros at 20-21 US
cents per share with the aim of reducing share capital.
Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc will purchase the shares for the telecom
major from May 15 to August 15.
The shares acquired by Morgan Stanley will be subsequently repurchased by
Vodafone, to be held as treasury shares and then either cancelled or allocated
to employee share awards.
