OSLO (dpa-AFX) - Norsk Hydro ASA (NHYDY.PK), a Norwegian aluminium and
renewable energy firm, said on Monday that Eivind Kallevik assumed his role as
Chief Executive Officer on May 13.

As announced on March 14, Kallevik has succeeded Hilde Merete Aasheim.

Earlier, Kallevik was Executive Vice President and Head of Hydro's Aluminium
Metal business area.

In addition, the company has announced that Trond Olaf Christophersen, Executive
Vice President for Corporate Development and interim Chief Financial Officer,
will take on the role as CFO.
