LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Oil and gas majorBP Plc (BP.L, BP_UN.TO, BP) said that it
is commencing a share repurchase of around $1.75 billion for a period up to July
26.
The purpose of the buyback is to reduce the share capital, the company said in a
statement.
The repurchase will be carried out on the London Stock Exchange.
