WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Live Nation  Inc. (LYV) released Loss for its first
quarter that increased from last year and  missed the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line came in at -$46.73 million, or -$0.53 per share. This compares with -$3.17 million, or -$0.25 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn -$0.19 per share, according
to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude
special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 21.4% to $3.80 billion from $3.13
billion last year.
