SINGAPORE (dpa-AFX) - Flex Ltd. (FLEX) announced earnings for third quarter
that decreased from last year but beat the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line totaled $197 million, or $0.45 per share. This
compares with $230 million, or $0.50 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Flex Ltd. reported adjusted earnings of $309 million or $0.71
per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.61 per share, according
to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude
special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter fell 8.5% to $7.10 billion from $7.76
billion last year.
