HONG KONG (dpa-AFX) - Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd. (GXYEF.PK, GXYEY.PK),
an owner and operator of hotels and casinos in Macau through its subsidiary,
Galaxy Casino S.A., on Tuesday, reported a rise in first-quarter revenue.

For the three months, the company recorded an adjusted EBITDA of HK$2.835
billion, higher than HK$1.907 billion, posted for the same period last year.

Total revenue moved up to HK$10.552 billion from the previous year's HK$7.054
billion.

Revenue from net gaming stood at HK$8.181 billion as against HK$5.323 billion a
year ago.

Looking ahead, the company said: 'During 2024 Macau has continued to experience
an ongoing recovery with both growth in visitor numbers and associated revenues.
The recovery has been predominately led by the premium segment. We still see
pent-up demand from Mainland, particularly for tourism, leisure and travel and
Macau remains one of the top choices for travel destinations by Mainland
Chinese.'
